Bank Robbery in Boston

The Citizen’s Bank at 1628 Tremont Street was robbed just before noon this morning by a suspect who reportedly claimed he had an explosive device on him. The suspect received money after passing a note to the teller, and fled on foot towards Francis Street. A dye pack was given and police are reporting it did explode. The suspect is described as a black male wearing all black and a long black coat, who may be covered in bright red dye now. A man matching the description was stopped in Mission Park, and witnesses from the bank were brought to potentially identify him. The suspect’s note was located by a Boston Police detail officer on St. Albans St.

UPDATE: Boston PD confirming they have the suspect in custody.

Gloucester MA: Medflight called for bad accident on Rt. 128

A woman was injured when the car she was driving crashed and rolled onto it’s side on Route 128 northbound near Exit 14 in Gloucester just after 1:00 PM on Thursday. Firefighters on scene freed the trapped woman from her vehicle. She was reported to be conscious and alert, but her injuries were severe enough to request a Medflight helicopter from Boston. State Police shut the highway down at Exit 15 in Manchester for the helicopter to land at the scene.

RV crashes into swimming pool in Brockton

An RV crashed into a backyard and dove into a swimming pool on North Quincy Street this morning. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police and fire are still on scene.

Double shooting in Salem, NH

Twitter reports indicate two people were shot and killed on Wheeler Ave in Salem, New Hampshire late this morning. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

UPDATE: The Eagle-Tribune reports three people are dead in what appears to be a murder/suicide.

3 alarm fire in Weare, New Hampshire

Fire broke out in the Weare Center store on South Stark Highway just after midnight on Tuesday and quickly grew to a 3rd alarm. Firefighters from multiple nearby towns have been called in to fight the blaze.

Five people shot in Haverhill

Five people were shot in Haverhill, MA just after 10:30 PM Monday night. An active search involving police helicopters and K9’s is underway. Police report there are multiple crime scenes. At least one victim is reported to have died. Police are looking for at least two suspects.

Ashland MA: Fire on Union St

Ashland firefighters are currently battling a two alarm fire at 358 Union Street. Firefighters could see fire showing from the building when they arrived on scene, and quickly announced a 2nd alarm. The fire is reported to be in a 1 1/2 story house. Updates will be posted as they become available.
